Investment profile
The fund takes an active management approach to investing in a portfolio of investments in the Asian infrastructure sector including transportation, energy, power, water, environment, telecom and urban infrastructure.
The fund will have a primary focus on the rapidly growing Chinese and Indian markets where the combined requirement for infrastructure investment over the next five years is projected to be in excess of USD 1 trillion.
Our role
The fund is under the strong joint sponsorship of Standard Chartered and IL&FS, one of India’s largest infrastructure development and financial services companies. Both firms have long-established operating histories and superior relationships throughout Asia. The team leverages the sponsors relationships and investment expertise in order to generate superior returns for investors.
