The fund acquires, develops, re-develops, re-positions and sells real estate properties throughout Asia. The fund is well-positioned to capitalise on the robust economic growth and dramatic urbanisation in the region, driving robust demand for new office, retail, residential and hotel space as domestic consumption and spending increases.
Our role
The real estate team leverages the complementary skill sets of Standard Chartered, one of the region’s leading financial firms, and Istithmar, a leading global real estate investor. The combined skills, experience, expertise, deal sourcing and execution capabilities of the team distinguishes our fund in the Asian real estate marketplace. With very limited exceptions, the fund will be the exclusive vehicle for each of the sponsors to make real estate and real estate-related investments in Asia.
