Standard Chartered Launches State-of-the-art Global Markets Dealing Room

Hong Kong, 14 October 2009 - Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (Standard Chartered Hong Kong) yesterday officially launched its new state-of-the-art Global Markets dealing room, specifically designed to provide an open and modern office space for improved communications and efficiency. This signifies the Bank’s growing aspiration in the region.
Officiating guests attending the opening ceremony included Lenny Feder, Group Head of Financial Markets, Benjamin Hung, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Hong Kong and Sundeep Bhandari, Managing Director and Regional Head of Global Markets, North East Asia.
“With this state-of-the-art dealing room, I have full confidence that the Global Markets team will enhance its efficiency and capacity to better serve our customers in the region.” said Sundeep Bhandari at the opening ceremony.
Located on Level 12 and 15 at Two International Financial Centre, Central, the office space accommodates over 440 workstations for the Financial Markets.
The total floor space is over 35,000 square foot.
